Solution for “cannot install Adobe Flash ActiveX problem”
We’re consulted by some users about “cannot install Adobe Flash ActiveX problem” recently. In fact, we met this problem some days ago either. It’s maybe a bug of the Adobe Flash ActiveX installing program or a bug of the ActiveX itself. If you met this problem, you can do we do, GOOD LUCKY!
1. Download the Microsoft Windows Resource Kit Tools (371KB) and install it. The default installing directory is “C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools”
2. Download reset_minimal.zip (1KB) and unzip the
“reset_minimal.cmd” scripts to “C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools”. Run the scripts. The scripts can fix the Registry permission and File System permission problems relatives to Adobe Flash ActiveX.
3. Download and run the Adobe Flash uninstall program (181KB).
4. Go to Adobe site and Install the Adobe Flash Player Online.
